5 tips after a tune
After tuning the car usually feels stronger immediately. Good aftercare helps keep that result reliable and enjoyable.
1. Warm the engine properly
Use full power only after oil and coolant are up to temperature. Turbocharged engines especially benefit from calm warm-up and cool-down habits.
2. Keep maintenance sharp
Oil, filters, spark plugs, air intake and leak-free hardware matter. Tuning makes maintenance more visible, not less important.
- use correct oil
- check filters
- watch for leaks
- do not ignore warnings
3. Use suitable fuel
Fuel quality can affect ignition, knock correction and consistency, especially on tuned petrol engines.
4. React to unusual behaviour
Smoke, limp mode, slipping, misfires or warning lights should be checked early. Tip 5: send vehicle details via WhatsApp if you are unsure.
